Results can last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on your skin type, the concern being treated, and how well you care for your skin after the procedure.
Are there downsides to microneedling?
Microneedling is safe and well tolerated. Some people experience temporary redness, slight swelling or mild sensitivity that usually subsides within a day or two. Following your post-care instructions is key.
What should I do before and after a session?
For at least 3 days before, avoid harsh products like retinoids, exfoliants and acids, and arrive with clean skin, free of makeup or lotions. For 48 hours after, avoid direct sun, hot showers and strenuous activity, and stick to a gentle routine.
